The great thing about being involved in a site like this is learning about the great music, films and other stuff out there that I wouldn’t normally get to know about.
Not out of deprivation, but out of pure laziness. I tend to rely on the radio to tell me what to listen to, but in the last 6 months I’ve learned to come out of my tired old ways and get with the young people.
Well it was only this week when someone had mentioned to me that I should do a bit about The Black Keys for Boob and then made me listen to some of their stuff.
So I figured I couldn’t be the only one who hadn’t heard of them before, so for those of you like me, here are The Black Keys.
They released their debut album “The Big Come Up” back in 2002, so they’re not exactly new to the scene. Their style has been called blue rock, and I’m in no position to argue with that.
I could go on and on, but I’m still new to them myself. I could also copy and paste shite from their Wikipedia page, but I won’t.
Instead here’s a couple of videos that I’ve been playing over again on Youtube. I’ve also downloaded a couple of their albums which I’m really liking.
