As a gamer I’ve bought so many headsets, hoping that each would turn out to be the best gaming headset, but in the end most of them sucked ass. I’ve been saving and waiting and waiting and waiting for the newest badass-est Triton headsets to come out and now that I’ve seen these I’ve never been more confused.
Us gamers will either need a headset that’ll enable us to hear the little sounds during online play and that will help us locate the enemy, or so our game doesn’t disturb others.
Genius have launched the Cavimanus Gaming Headset which is pretty damn awesome!
The large over the ear headset has a microphone boom for chat during gaming and virtual 7.1 surround sound. It also has vibration effects that can be turned on or off.
The headset also has handy easy to reach volume control on the ear cup and a fold-away microphone which can be moved out of the way when not in use, and is uni-directional to capture voice audio without any background noise.
The only thing that makes me not want one of these is that they’re not wireless but they have impressed me a bit as the headset comes with an anti-corrosive GOLD PLATED (fuck yeah!) USB jack on a 2.5m cable, to provide a high quality connection.
The Cavimanus Gaming Headset is available for about €70.
