Two decades ago, the original NSX surprisingly vaulted Acura into the supercar spotlight. Its unique all-aluminum build put the V6-powered speedster in the mix as one of the quickest cars in production. The NSX was cut from the market in 2005 but has re-emerged with a completely new look and is set to hit the streets in 2015 with a hybrid powertrain.

You can pick up a second hand Acura for about €1200, and it’ll be half decent too.  It won’t be an NSX, but not a bad motor.

The new concept must have some of the designers getting a little teary-eyed from old memories, here’s a video of the new car and some of the best from the series.

Anyway, expect this to hit the market in 2015 so if you’re a member of the local credit union, now’s the time to start taking out small loans to build up some trust.

Then when it comes out, you can borrow the €125,000 or so and make all the fellas jealous and the wimmins moist.

Bugatti have just unveiled a special edition of its Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at the Qatar Motor Show, this one is extra awesome as its inspired by Transformers.

This hyper-powered Bumble Bee like car is finished in black and yellow. The Bumble Bee motif continues inside; the seats are upholstered in yellow leather with black stitching, while the dashboard, steering wheel and gearshift are trimmed in black leather with yellow stitching, and the centre console is clear-lacquered carbon fibre and black tinted wheels. Oh it makes meeso hawwny!

Ettore Bugatti was kinda constrained by the racing conventions of his time and so he had to paint most of his cars pale blue, but he experimented with different colour schemes all his life and black and yellow was one of his favourite colour combinations, so this totes amazeballs car is somewhat a tribute to him.

Its top speed is quoted as 350km/h with the roof off and 407km/h with it on.

The Transformers styled Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is priced at €1.58 million compared to the standard version that costs €1.4 million. Is that it? Sure give me two! Oh FYI those prices exclude taxes and delivery.

Bugatti says that production of the yellow orgasm on wheels is limited to one hundred and fifty units and forty five have already been spoken for, one of those bad boys is for me.

Anyone wanna loan me €1.58 million? I’ll take ya for a spin around the corner…

The US built Falcon F7  is a light weight car weighing only 2,785 lbs (yer ma weighs more than that!) and it’s powered by a massive  7.0L engine which is able produce 620 horsepower. FUCK YEAH!

The car’s aluminium monocoque chassis has been built after hundreds of hours spent on the track and the car’s body is entirely made of carbon fibre as is the structural tunnel, floor pan and firewall.

The Falcon F7 can go from 0 to 60mph (96km/h) in like 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of  200mph (305 – 322 km/h)

It’s not all about speed though with this car, it comes with a shit load of luxuries like all the stuff you’d use on a daily basis, things like GPS nav, air conditioning, a high quality audio system, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and loadsa other awesome crap.

Wanna know how much it is??? Only about €200k, that’s it, sure we’ll get one in every colour!

But in fairness if there was ever an American car to get all gooey and girly over like a big girl gets gooey and girly over the latest vagina dress or whatever, the Shelby is one of them.

And just like a little princess getting all squeeky over the latest Michael Kors iPad 2 cover, we can just about let a little bit of wee out about this because there’s only 300 of these bad boys in the world.

They’re the result of Shelby celebrating 50 years of car tuning.  They unveiled the cars at the Detroit Auto Show during the week and I fooking want one.

300 of them will be made, probably all snapped up by oil princes and sweet 16 little cunts on MTV who’ll kit them out with animal print interiors.  That hat wearing twat Jamiroquai cunt will probably get one, crash it and then forget all about it.

The world is a cruel place and it’s about all I can do not to throw myself under a speeding steam roller.

There’s 3 different versions of this on the way with 100 Shelby GT500 Super Snakes, GT350 and GTS.  150 will be black and the other half white.

They’ll also have specially designed anniversary interiors, trims, wheels as well as special production numbers that will be entered into the Shelby’s official registry.

If you buy one of these, you’ll get tons of other Shelby merchandise and a fucking delivery ceremony at the company’s factory in Las fucking Vegas.

Details like these are like the latest un-wearable but must have-able high heels to women.

Some researchers in Japan have designed a car seat that uses sensors to measure a person’s specific weight and ass-shape. This technology would keep the car from starting for anyone other than the owner, well maybe for the owner and his ass twin.

The Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (AIIT) have developed a car seat that can identify drivers while they’re sitting down. It’s pretty simple technology, says he who thinks kicking broken things makes them work. The seat is retrofitted with 360 different sensors. Those sensors take into account things like your weight, the highest value of pressure on the seat, and where you come in contact with the seat. The idea is that we all sit in car seats relatively the same way each time, so the seat should be able to tell who is sitting in it, ensuring that the person is the owner of the car rather than a car thief. Oh I hope my ass twin would never steal my car.

The researchers claim the seat is able to accurately identify the person sitting in it 98% of the time. That’s pretty damn impressive!

I’d be worried that the one time I’d urgently need my car would be the one time it didn’t recognise my fine ass.

It’s also not clear how the seat would deal with things like weight loss or gain, the wearing of unusual clothing, or injuries that might affect how you sit down.

The AIIT researchers hope to work with car companies to bring the tech to vehicles as an anti-theft features in the next two to three years.

What do we think? Rectal scans….good idea? Baaaaad idea?

We’ve found the perfect holiday gift for the person who has everything… except taste. It’s a custom red and gold Mercedes SLR 999 dubbed the ‘blingmobile’ and it can be yours for a little over €8.4 million.

The car is owned by Swiss businessman Ueli Anliker, who employed 35 workers for 30,000 man hours to make this monstrosity. The customisations cost more than €4.15 million. Oh, Anliker also renamed the car the Anliker McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream.

Here’s the rundown.

• Top speed is 210 mph
• 5.4-litre engine with power boosted to 999 bhp
• 25 layers of red paint with 5 kg of gold dust in it
• Wheels, headlights and door sills covered in 24 carat gold
• Jewelled indicators
• Gold-trimmed interior and steering wheel
• Ruby-covered switchgear
• 600 total rubies are in the car’s interior

We’re not exactly sure where the car is for sale or how you can get your hands on it, but then again, you’re reading this site, so you obviously have some taste and wouldn’t want to be caught inside this thing anyway.

It seems like Anliker has a bit of an attachment to it anyway.

A spokesperson for Mr Anliker said: “Selling the vehicle has never been part of Mr Anliker’s motivation but he will consider a suitable offer.

“Having invested about 5 million Swiss francs and more than 30,000 man hours, the car is worth more than 10 million Swiss francs, which is his minimum selling price.”

Good luck with that.

I would say that for that kind of price that the car should love me long time, but that’s unrealistic.

Now even the most unsavvy Almera driving car ignorant type like myself will be saying “Hang on, surely that’s an old car, not a concept.”

Well, yeah.  But every car was a concept at some stage.

This 1976 concept is no different.  Except that it’s a real Chevrolet and not a Daewoo/Nissan with a different badge on it.

Bill Mitchell was head of Design at General Motors from 1959 until 1977. During his career, he created the design for over 72.5 million vee-hickles produced by GM, including the 1963 Corvette Stingray and the 1970 Chevy Camaro. Mitchell spent the entirety of his 42 year career in automobile design at GM, eventually becoming Vice President of design, a position he held for nearly two decades until his retirement in 1977.

Mitchell was a strong believer in the benefits of building ‘dream’ or ‘concept cars.’ He established the GM Advance Design Center, and gave his designers a great deal of creative freedom in their work. This 1976 Corvette, also known as ‘The Great White,’ is a one-of-a-kind, high-performance styling exercise built expressly for Mitchell. This highly customized Corvette features an all-aluminum 454 Z-1 block and modified L-88 drive train. The car was sold by GM to Mitchell after his retirement.

Wasn’t that nice of them?  You’d think being responsible for 72.5 MILLION sales that they’d have just given the poor fucker the car!

You can buy one of these bad boys at specialist auction houses around America and I’m sure if you look hard enough you’ll find one here, or in the UK.  Expect to pay (depending on condition etc) anywhere between €6,000 and €28,000.

Yeah, I just want a black one that’ll talk to me in a camp voice as we solve crimes.

I doubt you’ll see one on Done Deal, but at least classic car owners put effort into selling their stuff!

Well now we’re all growed up and we want real cars.  They’re more practical, girls will let us do stuff to them if we have a nice enough one (Doesn’t work that often with a 2004 Almera btw) and they’re status symbols.  Even in this tough recessionary hole.

But we’re men which means if someone shoves a decent enough radio controlled car under our noses via an awesome looking promo clip then we’ll want that too.  Check this bad boy out.

This is the new Traxxas XO-1 radio controlled car that can top an actual 100mph.  Not a scale 100mph, whatever the fuck that means (yes I know what it means, but it was just bullshit to get stupid kids like me to pester their parents for one), this can actually get right up and just over 100 real mph.

The most recent model, the XO-1 defies any previous perceptions of the miniature vehicles, reaching speeds of 100 mph in under five seconds and 60 mph in 2.3 seconds. Anyway, the Shelby Mustang GT500 is something of an American Icon, for some Americans.

For me, it’s just a pretty awesome looking fucking car that I wouldn’t mind owning.

Sounds like something a northsider says he’ll bring along to a dinner party, but apparently it’s a Polish car manufacturer.

Now I don’t want to sound out of line here, but it wasn’t long ago when you could buy a block of apartments, a bread factory and some goats for the price of a packet of fags in Poland, and they have a super car manufacturer?

Actually, that makes total sense.

Anyway, last month De Veno released details of their new car the Lamborghini styled Arrinera was ready for production.

This week they’ve released two promotional videos showing it off.

I suppose it’s the least they could do, they’re only charging €115,000 for it.

The De Veno Arrinera is powered by a mid-mounted 6.2 liter V8 which provides 650 horsepower and a maximum torque of 820Nm. The car weighs only 1,300kg, so the power-to-weight ratio is 2.0kg/hp. Thanks to this, the Arrinera is able to accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds. The 200km/h barrier is be passed in 8.9 seconds and the top speed is 340km/h.
